Canyoning means descending along otherwise inaccessible streams among waterfalls, smooth rocks, caves, incredible slides and crystalline pools, always accompanied by the inexhaustible flow of water.
Swimming, sliding, diving and lowering yourself along the waterfalls is a new and unforgettable experience capable of giving strong emotions! Before every outing The Guides will provide all the material necessary for the exit and will explain the precautions necessary to tackle the descent and the main manoeuvres.
At the end of the exit Small refreshments will be provided.
Suitable for whom?
It is an experience suitable for everyone, which does not require any special skills, even if it is the first time. The Guides will make all their experience and passion available to let you enjoy this small great adventure in complete tranquility and safety. Remember that jumps are never mandatory and that it is always possible to be lowered with a rope by the Guides.
The Canyons are different in difficulty and length and the groups will be selected based on their experience.

The MEETING POINT is located at the Villaggio Degasperi Val Malene – Canyoning Valsugana (Google Maps)
At the Canyoning Center (1) we will put on the wetsuits and boots; then we will go (2) to the departure point (3) where we will finish putting on the equipment (harnesses, helmet). In a few minutes we will reach the departure point where the Guides will hold an illustrative briefing.
The tour lasts from 2 to 3 hours depending on the group. At the end (4) you will find your dry change of clothes and a refreshment.
At the end we will take the drivers to the tour departure point to collect the cars (5).
LAGORAI AVVENTURA – CANYONING VALSUGANA
In 2010, Alessio Conz received his A. Alpine Guide licence and founded LAGORAI AVVENTURA, offering for the first time outdoor excursions in the Valsugana and Lagorai areas.
In 2011, Alessio discovered and equipped the MAKKIAYON canyon and, between 2011 and 2015, several improvements were made to the route and descent methods to ensure fun and safety. The canyon has several alternative routes to follow, depending on the lesser or greater amount of water.
Between 2010 and 2020, Alessio Conz has made over 1,000 canyoning excursions on Lagorai and Lake Garda; he has also written numerous mountaineering books.
Since 2021, LAGORAI AVVENTURA has been employing a team of mountain guides specifically trained in the methods and techniques developed over the years, particularly in the Makkiayon canyon.
LAGORAI AVVENTURA is constantly striving to provide the utmost comfort to those who wish to try this adventure, an unusual one for many.
Having led dozens of groups over many years, we know how to give the proper care to each group, as well as to individuals with their different approaches, including children.
Canyoning is an outdoor activity that is subject to the normal risks of these activities, from thunderstorms to rock falls, as well as the difficulties that individuals can encounter and which should never be underestimated.
We have therefore decided to avoid any action that might pose a risk to the safety of customers and to only implement procedures that guarantee maximum security.

We organize our excursions with the maximum comfort in mind, thus avoiding access or return on foot (when customers are already tired from the excursion and have to carry the weight of wet suits) and arranging a shuttle service to the cars, as well as providing some final refreshments to enjoy together.
Since 2022 the Meeting Point is at our Canyoning Center in Val Malene where you can put on your wetsuits in peace and check the suitability of all the equipment.
After numerous attempts to provide photo and video services, we discontinued them due to the ease of breaking or losing expensive equipment.
Our helmets are equipped with GoPro mounts, but the use of these is at your own risk; the same applies to waterproof mobile phone cases.
We are confident that we can meet your needs and wish you the best possible time in nature and the fantastic world of outdoors.
